Starr Weems de Graffenried has been a Spanish and art teacher in a public school for the last six years as well as a college Dual Enrollment teacher and a private Spanish instructor for children. She holds a M.Ed. in Foreign Language Curriculum and Teaching from Auburn University and is CELTA certified through Cambridge for teaching English as a second language to adults. She has designed curriculum for foreign language workshops and served on the 2007 Spanish textbook selection committee for the Limestone County School system. Her forthcoming book, Teach Your Child Spanish Through Play, A Guide and Resource for Parents, will be available in Fall of 2007. She is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys teaching classes at UpDog Yoga Center in Athens, Alabama.
